The LifeConnect® Partnership.
Our approach to total well-being.
Through the LifeConnect Wellness Partnership at Covenant Village of the Great Lakes, residents benefit from seamless access to resources, events and programs that are designed to enrich the mind, body and spirit. One reason LifeConnect works so well is that each individual is in control of his or her journey to enhanced wellness. After all, no two people are the same. We recognize individuality and the need to take different paths when it comes to optimizing personal health and vitality.
Dimensions of LifeConnect
Being active on campus is beneficial to all involved. Yet it’s also important to look toward the greater community for opportunities that can have a positive impact. Volunteering for local charities is a wonderful example.Close
Emotional well-being and physical well-being go hand-in-hand. We provide support groups, as well as sufficient emotional space, to help people work through any difficulties and, ultimately, to maintain a positive outlook and find happiness at every stage in life.Close
Just because someone’s retired doesn’t mean they should refrain from engaging in new pursuits and seeking new avenues for growth. Learn a new language, take a watercolor class—the possibilities are endless.Close
Healthy eating choices and an active lifestyle are the cornerstone of everyone’s well-being. Here, this understanding extends across all levels of living.Close
To us, residents and staff are part of one family—a community of caring individuals who look out for each other. The staff is just as invested in LifeConnect as the residents, always seeking ways to support individuals and to be involved in their daily lives.Close
Social hours, games, concerts, events and more create a community of fellowship–an atmosphere of healthy camaraderie and good feelings. Isolation and loneliness give way to meaningful relationships as solid friendships are formed every day through life-enriching programs.Close
As a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement organization, we can’t say enough about the value of spiritual wellness. In addition to having a chaplain on campus and regularly scheduled church services, we also offer a firm foundation for supporting residents in their faith.Close
Whether it involves woodworking, painting, writing, you name it—residents are encouraged to continue cultivating interests they’ve pursued throughout their lives, and even to start something completely new!Close
Keep in mind, you do not have to be a current member of our retirement community to benefit from our Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing or short-term Rehabilitation services, nor will you have to pay an entrance fee to enter one of the areas noted above. In our short-term Rehabilitation program, we accept Medicare and are in-network providers for a number of managed care and Medicare Advantage programs.
